Attorney Jenna Rousseau will be presenting on the topic of Disability Discrimination Claims at the Wisconsin Defense Counsel’s 2021 Annual Conference in Wisconsin Dells.

Attorneys Shana Lewis and Kirk Strang will present at the CESA 11 Legal Summit in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin.

Kirk Strang will again provide legal education and training for new school district superintendents as part of the 2021-2022 First Year Superintendents Academy presented by the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators.  As the name implies, the program series provides information, training, and mentoring for new superintendents.  The program series is led by Kathleen Cooke and Michael Gallagher of KCMG Consulting on behalf of WASDA, and is generously sponsored by Robert W. Baird & Co.  Kirk will provide training for new superintendents on a variety of legal issues that school superintendents confront on a regular basis, including open meetings, public records, teacher and administrator contracts, human resources, school board government, pupil misconduct, and more.

Kirk Strang will present his annual school law update at the Summer Legal Conference for the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators.  The conference of school district superintendents will return to a live, in-person format this year, and will again be held in Door County at Sturgeon Bay’s Stone Harbor Resort.  The three day program features some of Wisconsin’s leading school and education law attorneys and covers recent legal developments affecting Wisconsin school districts.

Attorney Shana Lewis will present  Volunteers and Conducting Background Checks  at the 2021 Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators (WASPA) Academy for New Human Resources Administrators, Support Staff and Aspiring Human Resources Directors in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin.
